Sports, by their very nature, are awash with statistics. Fans want a (mostly) objective way to evaluate a player’s impact on the field, and their stats are often used as fodder in arguments over how good they really are. Video games hoping to emulate these sports are then presented with the challenge of how to represent each player’s skill set in an authentic manner.

EA Sports College Football 25breaks every athlete down into a variety of categories, with a number assigned to each of them. These ratings help you assess the pros and cons of every person on your team, and allow you to gameplan around your squad’s strengths.
