Summary

Star Wars Outlawslets you live out the criminal fantasy in the Star Wars galaxy. Between doing jobs for criminal syndicates, escaping the Empire, and gambling, you have quite a few jobs to do while also enjoying the story. And, with every game, come voice actors who brought the characters here to life.

Voice acting is one of the most important parts of every game, as it allows players to get invested in what is going on and the characters that are part of the adventure, serving as a connection to what the game has to offer and its audience. Thus, let’s look at those responsible for our criminals here.

10Humberly González

As Kay Vess

There’s no better place to start than the star of the show. The reckless outlaw with a heart of gold fromCanto Bight,Kay Vess, is played byHumberly González, who did an amazing job as the character.

She’s been in series such as Ginny & Georgia and In the Dark, and most of her video game works are also Ubisoft titles, such as Far Cry 6 and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Still, she doesn’t have a lot of gaming roles yet, so hopefully we’ll hear more from her in the future.

9Dee Bradley Baker

As Nix

Yes, Nix has a voice actor behind it, and his name isDee Bradley Baker.Along with an extensive and fantastic portfolio, he’s also known for portraying animal characters, making all the distinct noises they need.

He’s also played the voice of Hammond from Overwatch 2 (not the robot voice, the hamster noises), as well as Eagly from the Peacemaker TV series, the mouse Sebastian from The Suicide Squad, and Morris from Shang-Chi. Still, his work also involves voicing people with speaking lines, too, but it’s the animals that are really cool.

8Jay Rincon

As ND-5

It’s not a proper Star Wars story without a droid companion, andJay Rinconhas got us covered with theimposing figure that is ND-5.He’s been in a few video games, such as Dead Island 2, Atomic Heart, and Horizon: Forbidden West, among others.

He’s even credited as an unspecified Storm Trooper in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so it’s nice to see him back into the Star Wars galaxy, this time as a full character. Hopefully, ND-5 will appear again somewhere.

7Caolan Byrne

As Sliro Barsha

Every protagonist needs an antagonist, and we have one here in the form of crime lord Sliro Barsha, played byCaolan Byrne. He does a great job of being imposing whenever he’s on screen, fitting perfectly into his crime boss role.

Curiously, this is Caolan’s first video game job (welcome to the gaming community!), as most of his previous works are from TV series and short movies. We’re looking forward to seeing more of him here as well.

6Eric Johnson

As Jaylen Vrax

Another character that kickstarts the story is Jaylen, who hires Kay for the main heist of the game. Our main heist planner is played byEric Johnson, who has also done a previous job for Ubisoft asIvarr the Bonelessin Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

In fact, all his video game work is Ubisoft related, as he has also voiced Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell: Blacklist. He’s also been in series such as Vikings, American Gods, and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin.

5Shadi Janho

As Geedek

Also, returning from Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, we haveShadi Janhoas Geedek. He does an excellent job as the Rodian droidsmith and long-time friend of Kay, and their moments together are very fun to witness.

Those are the only games he’s been in, though, as most of his other work consists of TV series. Among these, we have Classé Secret and Jack Ryan, among others.

4Julie Nathanson

As Ank

Speaking a whole made-up language - and one that is just gibberish, as Huttese is not a functional language, like Dothraki, for instance - is quite a challenge, butJulie Nathansonfaced it as Ank and did a great job while at it.

From Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Bayonetta 3, League of Legends, Starfield, Guild Wars 2, and many more, Julie is no stranger to video games, though she’s also been in many series as well.

3Fritzy-Klevans Destine

As Asara

Fritzy-Klevans Destinegives life to the rebellious Twi’Lek we meet during our adventure. His back-and-forth with Kay about the Rebel Alliance gives them a fun dynamic, and both actors did an excellent job bringing that to the game.

This is Destine’s first game role, but he’s been in series such as The Boys, as well as Superman and Lois. And like the other actors who started working on games because of Outlaws, I hope to hear him again around here.

2Mercedes Morris

As Vail

What’s the point of playing a criminal if there’s no bounty on your head? Luckily, we haveMercedes Morrisas Vail to spice things up as the bounty hunter whose mission is, well, us.

She’s also been in Far Cry 6, showing us that Ubisoft enjoyed her previous work - as they should, since she did a great job there and another great job here. Those are her only games, though, similar to others on this list.

1Nicola Correia-Damude

As Riko

Though the game doesn’t take long to reveal her identity, we’ll keep things vague here to avoid spoilers. What matters is that Riko is a very important character in the story, even in a supporting role, andNicola Correia-Damudedid an amazing job here as her.

She’s also in Far Cry 6 as well as the game Starlink: Battle for Atlas. As for TV series, she’s also in The Boys, along with series such as Burden of Truth and Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments.
