Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtreeis pretty tough, but there are plenty of tools that you can find in the Land of Shadow that will make your life significantly easier. One of these items is the Scadutree Fragment, which you can find on the ground or dropped by particular enemies, such as the less deadly version of the Golden Hippopotamus.
These items increase your attack and reduce the amount of damage you receive,and were recently buffed, making them an essential collectible if you want to get throughShadow of the Erdtreeas pain-free as possible. However, we all know how much FromSoftware fans enjoy a challenge, especiallyTwitch streamer MissMikkaa, who has managed to beat the DLC’s final boss without collecting a single Scadutree Blessing.
It should go without saying, but we’ll warn you just in case, that there are major spoilers for Shadow of the Erdtree coming up, including gameplay of the DLC’s final boss.
MissMikka posted proof of her victory on her Twitter account on Sunday, with a video of herself finally taking down Radahn, Consort of Miquella. In the post, MissMikka explains that she took down the final boss, as well as every other boss in the DLC, with no Scadutree Blessings, but it took her a pretty whopping 1135 total deaths to finally get there.

That’s a lot of deaths, but astonishingly, nearly half of those came about during MissMikkaa’s showdown with the final boss. She claims in her post that she died 516 times trying to finally bring down Radahn, over the course of 16 brutal hours, and that Radahn is “harder than Malenia.” Given thatElden Ring legend Let Me Solo Her has said pretty much the same thing, that definitely tracks.
Of course, we know thatMissMikka delights in beating Elden Ring in progressively more absurd ways, and she now plans on beating Shadow of the Erdtree with a dance mat once she’s recovered from an illness. If this was done while she was ill, then Radahn should probably be quaking in his boots at the prospect of a rematch with MissMikkaa back at full power.
