The latest discovery, which was sharedon Reddit, is an interesting one, as it shows thatMohg’sSpear is seemingly shaped with dozens of bodies.
Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear Is Made Of What?
As discovered by Reddit userCatsnstuffz, Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear is covered in small nude bodies, or at least two of its three spikes are.
Prior to this discovery, players believed that rather than the human form,the spear was molten. Given that Mohg is a heavy user of bloodflame magic, this idea made sense. However, this new find has caused fans to reevaluate the lore behind the spear.
One player noted that it was like Enir Ilim, and another that it was like the Twin Gates of Divinity, in so much as the spear is built on bodies, which is considered to depict power. This theory can be taken further by the Spear’s in-game description, which reads, “Trident of Mohg, Lord of Blood. A sacred spear that will come to symbolize his dynasty.”

While some were quick to share theories, others were just happy to declare how wild it is as a “thing to not notice for two years and an entire DLC later”, and that “It’s details like this that make this game so amazing.”
At this point, the full lore of Mohgwyn’s Sacred Spear is limited, but this new discovery is likely to open the floodgates, with players looking for everyhidden piece of meaning the spear could have for Mohg.
