Summary

Duringthe Consort Radahn fightat the end ofElden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, he digs his two lightning-infused blades into the ground and rips up a cluster of meteors that he then launches towards you at full speed.

You’re supposed to keep moving and dodge each one, but it can be tough to keep track of them while also avoiding Radahn himself. Luckily, one fan has found a way to deflect the attack.

When Radahn sends the meteors in your direction, summon Ranni’s Dark Moon—a spell you get from hissister. Not only will it crush each meteor mid-flight, but it will also hit Radahn and deal some damage. How do you like them gravity magic apples?

How To Get Ranni’s Dark Moon

There’s a good chance that you already locked yourself out of getting this spell, because it’s tied to one of the base game’s endings. You have to progress Ranni’s questline up tothe Astel, Naturalborn of the Void boss fight. Once you’ve defeated them, you’ll gain access to the Grand Cloister.

Here you’ll find Chelona’s Rise which houses a chest containing Ranni’s Dark Moon. It’s a Full Moon Sorcery that uses up two slots, costs 57 FP, and requires a staggering 68 intelligence to use. So, while it’s handy at fending off one of Radahn’s attacks, it’s only viable if you’re using a dedicated sorcerer build.

Some have suggested using Rennala’s Full Moon instead. It requires an even higher 70 intelligence, but only uses 47 FP. You can get it through her Remembrance after facing her in the Raya Lucaria Academy.

Pick your poison, make Radahn look like a chump with his mom’s spell, or make him look like an idiot with his sister’s.
