The EDF deploys once more. After a long wait,Earth Defense Force Sixhas finally made it to our shores and it was a worthwhile wait. The hectic horde shooter is more popular than ever and despite some hiccups at launch its been performing well across the board.
A massive enjoyable time sink with a ton of trophies and achievements to unlock, you’ll be spending quite a while with EDF Six if you’re gunning for that full completionist run. How To Unlock Every Earth Defense Force Six Achievement And Trophy
Good news for those looking to work through along list of achievements and trophies, Earth Defense Force Six has a lot of them and they’re very easy to unlock. The only downside is that it’s going to take you a long time.
The majority are unlocked by justplaying through the game normallyall the way to the end, hitting over1000 health for each class, and a small handful require you to do a specific thing to unlock them. To keep it all succinct and in order, we’vecategorized them into sectionsso you may do them in a batch. Or at least keep track of what you need to do next.
Story Achievements/Trophies
First up we’ve got by far theeasiest unlocksto get your hands on. All you need to do is play the game and they’ll bepassively rewardedwhen you hit specific milestones in the campaign.
There’s over149 missionsand the average time to finish Earth Defense Force Six is roughly45 to 48 hours. Call it aneven 50 hoursif you’re new and still getting to grips with the game. So you might as wellsettle in forthe long haulas you’re going to be here a while.
Conquest5
Made 5 percent game progress.
Play through every mission of the story campaign in single or multiplayer until the end of the game. If you miss missions in the list by joining someone elses game, you will need to go back to your own game and play them either on your own or with a party.
Made 100 percent game progress.
Class Achievements/Trophies
These are the otherset of easy unlocks. All you need to do isplay the gameas a specific class,collect red Armor boxesand keep doing that loop until your health hits 1000.
It’s going to take a while unless you findthe best grinding missionsas health level progress is locked to each class. So pick one class and stick to it, thenswap over to a new oneonce they’re done. Then rinse and repeat.
Master Ranger
Ranger’s Health Reached 1000.
Collect the red “Armor” boxes during each mission as each class until your health bar reaches 1000.
Master Fencer
Fencer’s Health Reached 1000.
Missions such as51, 97, 109 and 116are considered the best for grinding up Armor and Weapon boxes.
Specific Action Achievements/Trophies
These are achievements or trophies that are unlocked by performing either aspecific action in the gameas you play. Such as reviving other players. Orhealing your teammatesand collecting every achievement and trophy in Earth Defense Force Six.
Aside from the last one, they’re very easy to do as therevive and heal can be done in one go. Whilst the 50 player revive can be knocked out in a few sessions.
Rescue
Rescued five other players in Co-Op.
Run up to a dead player and press the “Revive” button on them. You will also need to have enough health in your own bar to Revive them first.
Medic
Healed another player in Co-Op.
Place down a Support Post that heals or use a healing spray gun on a wounded player. Works regardless of the amount of damage they’ve suffered.
