It is officially August now, which means that in two months and some change, we’ll finally be able to playDragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. For those keeping official track of things,we’re 71 days away from the game’s launch on October 11. Simply put, it’s almost here, and the hype levels among fans are well over 9,000.
So much so that fans have taken to Redditto share which of the revealed characters (and trust us, there’s a lot) will be their main once the game launches. Of course, there are your typical Super Saiyan 2 Gohan fans and those who love Piccolo,but where Sparking! Zero separates itself is the fact that Dragon Ball Super will be in the game at launch. That means the likes of Jiren, Zamasu and Future Trunks will be adding an interesting wrinkle to what has historically been a primarily Dragon Ball Z-based roster.
Zamasu, Goku Black And Yamcha (?) Headline Fan Favorites
Chief among the fan choices is Dragon Ball staple Gohan.Whether it’s the Super Saiyan 2 version from the Cell Games,the Future incarnation of Gohan with his missing arm, or Ultimate Gohan from the Buu Saga, fans are particularly attached to Goku’s firstborn son. “Future gohan my beloved,“one user wrote on the megathread.

And then there was the gamer who is committed to using Trunks and every one of his forms. “Any trunks, sword melee super kid I will rock any and every trunks.” Based off the character reveal trailers,there will certainly be a lot of Trunks variants to rock, so they’ll be well taken care of.
As for this writer, Gotenks will definitely be my main at launch. In particular, I am looking forward to what intro dialogue the cocky fusion of Goten and Trunks has for all the various characters. Either way, Sparking! Zero is shaping up to be the game of everyone’s dreams, so whoever your main is, it’ll certainly be a fun time.
