Summary

A talentedDragon Ball GTfan has created a mod forDragon Ball FighterZthat finally gives Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta some proper representation in the game.

Although most Dragon Ball games (especially Sparking Zero) get a bit of a bad rap forhaving every version of Goku and Vegeta under the sun as playable characters, the same can’t quite be said of FighterZ. Sure, we’ve gotmostvariants covered in one way or another, but it’s nowhere near the level ofXenoverseor Budokai Tenkaichi, which makes sense considering how complex each fighter needs to be.

One sad casualty of that approach is thatDragon Ball GT has very little representation in FighterZ, with GT Goku (which doesn’t really even use his Super Saiyan 4 form), Super Baby 2, and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta being all there is. While Goku fans have begged in the past for a form that properly uses SSJ4, things are even worse for Vegeta, who only shows up in Gogeta’s introduction.

Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta Is Finally In FighterZ Thanks To A Fan

While Dragon Ball FighterZ might not officially want to pay much attention to GT Vegeta, a talented GameBanana modder known asRCBurrito has corrected that mistake by adding Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta to the game with a custom moveset. They announcedthat the mod was finished over on Twitter in a postthat has received a ton of love from the Dragon Ball community.

As great as it is to have Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta in the game in a better capacity than an introduction cameo, RCBurrito’s mod is more than just a skin swap. The mod replaces Super Saiyan Vegeta in the game’s roster, but gives him a bunch of different moves from across the Saiyan Prince’s various forms, including Galick Gun, Final Flash, and what appears to be a Super Explosive Wave.

If RCBurrito seems familiar to you, that’s because he’s also created mods that bring Orange Piccolo and Beast Gohan into the game, complete with their own movesets as well.

Although it’s a shame that we’ll likely never get official playable representation for Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta (and Goku, technically), we do at least have this mod to give us an idea of what he might have played like.
