Summary
Dragon Age: The Veilguardfinally has a release date,as BioWare confirmed all the rumorsand revealed that we’ll be getting spooky with the game on October 31 later this year.BioWarefinally shared this date alongside a new trailer for the title, which included brand-new footage of the game’s characters and our Rook, as well asthe reveal that Morrigan (or Flemeth maybe?) will be one of the main charactersin the game.
Right at the end of the trailer, BioWare used the opportunity to show off the neat little bonuses that players will get for pre-ordering, and it’s one of the cooler examples in recent years. If you check the trailer (embedded down below), you may see that players will get three versions of the Blood Dragon Armor for pre-ordering, one for each class.

Now, if you’ve playedDragon Age: Origins, the name of that armor should be ringing alarm bells. Back when the game launched, BioWare released a set of armor called the Blood Dragon armor set as post-launch DLC, and it’s pretty popular due to it being one of the strongest armo sets you could get in the base game. Even if you’ve never heard of it, you’re able to see it’s related to Origins thanks to the game’s box art splashed across the chest.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard Gives You Armor From Origins For Pre-Ordering
It became such a popular set of armor that BioWare even managed to include it in games outside of Dragon Age. Those that have played Mass Effect 2 or 3 will also be familiar with the armor, as it was included as a bonus in the former if you owned both Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age: Origins. It even made it into Mass Effect: Legendary Edition too.
Now that we have confirmation that the Blood Dragon armor will be in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, we can add another title to the list of games it makes a cameo in. If you want to grab it for yourself, you’ll need to pre-order the game before it releases on October 31, otherwise you’ll miss out. Get it done!
