Summary
One of the biggest mysteries in the world of streaming over the past few years is what happened to cause Guy Beahm, better known by his persona Dr Disrespect,to suddenly be banned from Twitch in 2020. At the time, nothing was revealed about why Beahm was kicked from the platform, but the ugly truth was revealed last month.
Dr Disrespect notably wasn’t removed from Kick, who said that it was “too soon” to ban him.
Dr Disrespect Is Teasing A Comeback
Despite Beahm admitting to messaging a minor inappropriately and then being dropped by pretty much everyone who had worked with him, it seems like it’s not the end for Dr Disrespect. Earlier today,Beahm tweeted for the first time since his statement on the Twitch ban, sharing a photo of him playing chess on a board that has checkers on it.
Dr Disrespect’s photo is clearly a reference to the saying, “I’m playing chess while you’re playing checkers”, essentially saying that he’s unbeatable.
Dr Disrespect’s tweet didn’t have anything else in it beyond that photo, so it’s a little hard to guess what he’s trying to say. From what’s shown, though, it seems like he’s trying to tease some sort of comeback and hinting that he’s not done with his persona just yet. What that entails is anyone’s guess, but considering Kick still hasn’t banned him from the platform, it’s possible that he’s going to continue streaming there.
Beahm hasn’t said anything else about the photo as of the time of writing, but he has taken the time to insult people on Twitter, such as replying to one comment and calling the user “she/her” while saying the internet won’t fix her “depression”. If you were hoping that Beahm might have turned over a new leaf following the allegations, there’s your confirmation that isn’t the case.
