Summary
Dr Disrespecthas suddenly deleted the tweet where he admitted to inappropriately messaging a minor, despite it having already been seen by millions of people.
For a long time, one of the biggest mysteries in the streaming world waswhat happened to Dr Disrespect, real name Guy Beahm, to get him permanently banned from Twitch in 2020. It seemed like something that would never be revealed, but that all changed a few months ago when it was reported that Beahm was banned for inappropriately messaging a minor.
Beahm also edited the statement to remove the word “minor”, before changing it back after getting called out.
Dr Disrespect Walks Back Admitting To Messaging A Minor
Despite that tweet being seen by hundreds of millions of people and being common knowledge the moment that it was posted, it seems that Beahm is trying his best to erase it from the internet. As pointed out by Twitter user JakeSucky, the infamous tweet from less than two months ago has randomly disappeared from Dr Disrespect’s Twitter account.
It’s not clear why Beahm has suddenly tried to remove one of the most talked-about and controversial to come from a streamer, but I can confirm that’s the case after checking his Twitter account for myself. The tweet thatBeahm shared about not being able to talk about the situation is still up on his account, so it seems that he specifically wanted the admittance one removed.
Considering how JakeSucky’s tweet highlighting the removal (and showing off the original tweet that Dr Disrespect made) already has close to 700,000 views as of the time of writing, it doesn’t seem likely to change much. Since Dr Disrespect has been next-to-silent since the allegations were made, it’s tough to guess why he’s bothered to remove anything from his account.
We won’t know for sure until he says anything else, but it’s worth noting that he seemed to be teasing some kind of comebacka few weeks ago when he shared an image of him playing chess against someone playing checkers.
