Walk the house after shooting wraps to see what kinds of props you’re able to place and where! Some props in The Crush House help audiences feel more satisfied with the show (especially those who are tougher to satisfy), and they may even influence cast member behavior on camera.

How To Unlock And Place Props

How To Place Props In The Crush House

You’llunlock new props at the end of successful daysif the show stays on the air, so you’ll need toknow your audiencewhen filming The Crush House each day to make the most of who’s watching.

to place props in The Crush House, you’ll first need toearn money by playing adsduring the show.Whenever anything isn’t happening(or you’ve satisfied your audience for the day), you’re able to play ads when youstop using the camcorder. Unsurprisingly, ads pay out if they play in fulland not a second before, so be sure to watch that a commercial ends before you start filming again to lock in the cash for the ad.

At the end of each day, you’ll need to check the computer in Jae’s room to see what you’ve unlocked. You’ll only see the name of the item on this screen, but you canreturn to the house once you’ve checked Jae’s computerto begin walking around placing items. Though they each look different once you place them around the house, you’ll identify props on the ratings screen at the end of the day as theteal icon with yellow circles.

The impact of a prop in The Crush House depends entirely on what the prop actually is. Some props like statues and artworkinfluence cast member behaviorwhen they’re physically near the object, with things like the Fighting Statue in the yard pushing the cast mates to duke it out. You’ll also find props thatsatisfy different audienceswhen they’re shown during the show, like how the Cast Iron pan for the kitchen gives you points with the Suburban Moms audience.

If you had trouble with a particular audience, it’s helpful to place the prop related to that type of viewer. That way, if that pop up again later in the season or sometime down the road, you’ll be able to more easily satisfy such a fussy audience, even if you’re missing the cast members they like best or the kind of relationships they want to see.

How To Unlock New Props

It seems thatsatisfying an audiencemay unlock the prop directly related to them. In playing, we unlocked the Peach Pillow for satisfying the Butt Guys for the first time, just like we got the Pool Shower for satisfying the Plumbers.

you’re able to also unlock new props byaccepting cast member requests, a key component of solving the mystery of The Crush House. For instance, you can’t buy the karaoke machine until Joyumi asks you to. You’ll need to thenbuy these props to complete the request, since you can’t film them using something you haven’t actually purchased.

That said, if you can’t afford to place a prop for someone’s request until after their season, you’ll need to invite them back for a second season and film them using it then if you’d still like to complete their special request. It’ll be marked as “On Hiatus” in Jae’s PDA if you’re unable to complete a prop requestduring that cast member’s season.

Once the props are unlocked, you’ll need towalk through the house after filming each dayto see what’s available to you. Items remain available for purchase after you’ve unlocked them, even if you move into a new season before you may afford to get them (there areplentyof audiences to satisfy, after all).

The cast seems to gravitate to items on their own, so placing one is a good bet that it’ll get used before too long. It’s a good thing to keep in mind if you have a specific audience the following day. If you can afford a prop that will sway

Finally, you’ll unlock severalChorby figurinesthroughout your time filming The Crush House. These dolls can be placed in assorted locations around the house, with one for pretty much every room by the time they’re all unlocked. Don’t worry about how creepy they look, or how odd it is that they move on their own - there’s an achievement to earn for placing every Chorby in The Crush House.

If you have an audience that’s tough to satisfy, try placing props that target them. These props are easy ways to gain points with them if the cast isn’t providing much themselves.
