The Camo Cosmos opens with one ofAstro Bot’smost ambitious levels in the form of Hieroglitch Pyramid, which is fun to say but less fun to type. In it, you’ll be making your way through an ancient Egyptian themed level, with a funky new power to boot. And now the name makes sense. Anyway, here’s every Bot, Jigsaw Piece, and Black Hole along the way.
Bot 1
In the opening area, there’sa bot inside a sarcophagus off to the right. Smash it open after defeating the enemies to rescue them.
Bot 2
After the bridge collapses, there arethree enemies on a central podium. HoldSquare to burrow downand rescue the bot trapped down here.
Bot 3
In the area with the slam traps, you may dropdown a levelby standing in thesecond inlet and holding Square to burrow. Down here, you’ll seeLara Croft running away from very similar slam traps. If you chase her, it is possible with a little luck and determination to catch her. However, you’rebetter off waiting until you have your power, which allows you toshrink into an indestructible, Samus-style ball. Use this to save yourself from the traps, and catching Lara will be a doddle.
Jigsaw 1
Just aftergetting the ball power, you need toroll along spikes to a small tunnel. Roll justbeyond itto grabthe first jigsaw pieceon another spiked path.
If you follow our advice on waiting, you will get this before Lara, and shouldbacktrack to the slam traps after the exit- but remember tograb Jigsaw 2on the way.
Bot 4
Just around theleft corner from the exitto the room with the power,slam onto the steel cratesin ball form to break them, then again to spring up. Here, there isa bot being attacked and hanging on a ropenext to a cactus - a very dangerous place indeed.
Jigsaw 2
Meanwhile, justaround the right corner, there isa small gap you can roll under in ball form.This is on the wayback to Lara Croft. Through the gap,smash open the chestto get the second jigsaw piece.
Bot 5
After destroying thesecond vacuum enemy, dropdown to the leftand push thethird from right green tile to find a bot trapped in a vase. Smash the vase and bash the bot, then that’s job done.
Jigsaw 3
While on thetop of the smash traps before the volancoshoots you across the map,don’t roll leftas the game intends you to. Instead,roll rightand as the trap lowers, you’ll be able tosneak inside and grab the last jigsaw pieceof the level.
Bot 6
After the volcano throws you into the hole with the golf flag in it (regular guide readers know it’s called a pin),jump in the middle volcanoas it spins to theleft. As it launches you, it willsmash a cagewith the sixth bot trapped inside.
Bot 7
Aftersmashing the crates by the wall after you land, there will bea loose wire. Pull it to reveal atightly stretched sheet of fabric. Bounce on it in ball form and you’ll besent to a new areawhere one spaceship carriesa Tir McDohl (from Suikoden) bot, and the others carry pineapples. Bounce up in ball mode thenunfurl and bash the red spaceshipto free your seventh and final bot of the level.
Black Hole
At the veryend of the level(that’s after you’ve tried to end it andactivated the slide down the spikes), there isa podium off to the right. Spin to clear enough gems away that you can see thewooden floor, thenslam down in ball modeto break it and activate a trampoline.Spring upand push thethird from left green squareto find a secret room with a loose wire that leads to a black hole - or it will once you beat the trap. Push the second from left green square and the fourth from right green square to stop it.
Since this is right at the end, it doesn’t matter that black holes end the level early. Instead, you get to have your cake and eat it as you complete Hieroglitch Pyramid and unlock a new level in Lost Galaxy.
