The Lost Galaxy is a secret zone ofAstro Bot, one you can only reach by finding the ten black holes across the other levels - thankfully, our guides are on hand to help you get there - but you already knew that, which is how you wound up here in the first place. In any case, Funky Fungi is the second level in the Lost Galaxy (going clockwise, if not necessarily in unlock order), and here’s where you get every Bot and Jigsaw Piece the level has to offer.
Bot 1
As soon as youhead up the cliffon the flower pad, you’ll find a bot dressed a Richter Belmont waiting to be rescued.
Jigsaw 1
When youdefeat the three slimes on a rockand get thedynamite, don’t throw it at the obvious rock in front of you.Head to the passage on the rightand throw it at the cracked cliff to get the first Jigsaw Piece inside.
Bot 2
Inside the mushroom cave,grab a flowerfrom any of the loose wires andhead to the far left of the arena. Here, there arethree tall mushrooms. Use the flower to reach the lowest one, then jump up to the next two whereBloodborne’s Hunterneeds to be rescued. Or, if you will, bashed.
Jigsaw 2
Alsoinside the mushroom cave, hop onthe first ledge to the rightand defeat the enemies here. This will reveal a place tohold Square to burrow, which takes you to a bunch of green tiles. Laser jump on the one that sounds different (middle of the middle row going across) to get this jigsaw piece.
Bot 3
Also also inside the mushroom cave,kill the pumpkin enemyon the raised ledge of the pit. Next to it,hold Square to burrow into a new area, where another bot is stranded.
Bot 4
As soon as you drop downby burrowing under the giant flower enemy,turn aroundand knock over the pile of rocks. Here, you’ll finda spot you can hold Square to burrow. In this portal, tilt the platforms by moving the DualSense in real life, and at the end of the track, you’ll findan Alucard bot.
Bot 5
When youpass under the waterfall caveto take on the glass robot that throws its skull,pull the loose wiresthat appear when you defeat it to grab a flower. Turn around anduse the flower to fly up the waterfall,where the final bot will be waiting.
With that, our journey through the mushroom kingdom (wait, wrong game) is complete, and you’re one step closer to wrapping up Astro Bot and getting that Platinum. Happy hunting!
