When it comes to open-world gacha games likeWuthering Wavesthat rely heavily on exploration to give you the premium currency for pulls, there are bound to be specific collectible items. Some of these collectibles are tied to a certain quest, while others are just scattered around the world.
Frostbugs are one such example of collectible entities that you can find all around the Mt. Firmament area. These are the Blobfly variant of this region and not only do they give a ton of Astrites, but are also required to complete your area exploration.
How To Get All Frostbugs
There are a total of ten Frostbugs in Mt. Firmament, and here’s how you can get each one:

This is likely the easiest Frostbug to find in the game as you simply have to teleport to the northernmost Xuanji Ridges beacon andyou’ll find it in a nearby pool.

From the first bug, climb the wall to the north and reach the top of the moon-shaped isle here. You’ll find itbetween the moon-shaped and the tiny isle.

For this one, you can either make your way to the east from the second bug orteleport to the northern beacon in Loong’s Rest and go west. You’ll find it in the water to the northern beach in between these two points.

Simply teleport to the Hongzhen resonance nexus andglide south to the little pools here. You’ll find this bug on the bottom-most pool.

Teleport to the beacon to the right of where Loong’s Rest is written on the map and you’ll find a yellow disc nearby. Usetwo of these discs to jump upand then head to the end of the waterfall to find this one.

Teleport to the beacon just below where Loong’s Crest is written on the map and head in the western direction. Here, you’ll see a bear anda small wall to the right of the bearthat you may climb and get this bug.

Head to the beacon above where Loong’s Ridge is written on the map and simplyglide down in the northern direction. You’ll spot this bug quite easily.

Teleport to the same beacon as the bug above and head in the southeast direction. You’ll find this bugat the edge of the tiny isle here.

Simply teleport to the southeastern beacon on theright of the main cliff in Mt. Firmamentand keep following the beach in the southeast direction to get this.

The final bug can be found in the small isles to the southwest of Mt. Firmament. You’ll find itright in between the two small isleson the edge of the area.
How To Defeat Frostbugs
Finding the Frostbugs in different regions of Mt. Firmament is one thing, but you also have to follow a special procedure to defeat them. This area seems to be aimed atmaking players use Pistol characters as much as possible, which is also shown when it comes to Frostbugs since these creatures will hide if you get close to them.
You simply have to get behind them while maintaining your distance and you’ll notice a small golden patch on the back side of their neck.Aim at this patch with any Pistol resonatorand you’ll be able to defeat the bug in just one shot.
