Bubbling Under is the second stage inAstro Bot’s Camo Cosmos world. After all the hard work you’ve been doing, the game has decided to give you a chance to take a relaxing swim in the ocean. Say hi to the dolphins, explore a sunken ship, and free a massive enslaved starfish. Typical day at the beach stuff.
This is another one of those less linear, more freeform stages. You’ll be able to tackle a number of little challenges, clear out tiny groups of enemies, and achieve small goals in, basically, whatever order you would like.
Jigsaw 1
After entering the main area of the stage,you will see a massive bubble dome to your right surrounded by stone columns, and with three giant spiky balls circling it.Floating in the center of that dome is your first jigsaw puzzle piece. Just swim right in and snag it.
Once you enter the dome, you will be in a dry space, which means you will fall once you push through the wall. Enter the dome at the top so that you will land on the platform.
Bot 1
Once you are in the main section of the stage (where all the stuff is),swim up and look for a sunken ship. Above the ship, you’ll see a bridge with multiple geysers.The first bot in need of rescuing is stuck in one of these.
Bot 2
On the right side of the main area, you’ll see a room with bubbles being blown out of it.Swim into that room, fighting the current as you do, and you will find the second bot up against the wall.
Jigsaw 2
In the left corner of the stage, you’ll see an enemy swinging around a massive spike ball in one of those domes.Swim into it, dodge the spike ball, and take the enemy out with your laser boots. Now, simplyperform your spin attack in the center of the sandpit to clear it out.The jigsaw piece is in the treasure chest you’ll find under the sand.
Bot 3
The third bot you’ll need to rescue is standing on a wooden platform on the surface of the water. They are in the corner of the stage, to the right of the massive starfish. Once you reach them, however, a UFO Bot will snag them.The UFO will stay in the same place as long as you are under the water.So, approach from below, and dash up and out of the water directly into them. Just make sure you line up your shot, and you should get it in a few attempts.
Bot 4
Next to the sunken ship, very close to where you found the third jigsaw piece, there is a massive snake embedded in the wall.Approach the snake and you will be swallowed whole. The Cat-Like Bot is found inside the belly of the snake.
Bot 5
Swim into the sunken ship.From the hull of the ship, there is a breakable wall. Smash that wall and you will be staring at this bot.They’re stuck in a treasure chest.
Jigsaw 3
Beside the sunken ship, you’ll find four circular platforms.Three of them have plants resting on them. After striking them individually, they will give you coins. If you strike all three of them, a jigsaw will appear in the center platform.
Bot 6
Back on the surface, you will need to break one of the chains by grabbing a pig and tossing it at the shackle. This platform also has the sixth bot you need to rescue standing on a clamshell (being harassed by an enemy).
Bot 7
The Secret Octopus Bot is easy to snag once you know what to look for.Once you have freed the starfish, you can end the stage by swimming up the strip marked with multiple arrows pointing upward.At the base of that strip is a little, round grassy platform. That’s where you’ll find the Secret Octopus Bot!
