Summary

2024 has been a huge year for any of you who like what you wear on your feet to be officially connected to IP.PlayStation sneakers are real, the Nike crossover coming to Tekkenin September will be both in the game and out of it, and evenSquishmallows sneakers are a thingthanks to Puma. The officially licensed sneaker train just keeps on chugging as you’re able to now buy Bluey and Beetlejuice footwear of various descriptions at Target and Walmart.

Just to be clear before we move on, the Bluey and Beetlejuice collections are separate. You haven’t stumbled upon one of the weirdest crossovers ever. I would like to see that, but it seems unlikely.

Bluey High-Top Sneakers

The Bluey collection is exclusive to Target, created by Ground Up, and includes four different styles. The headliners are the Bluey high-tops, covered in a pastel-colored floral print with Bluey playing on one side and her sister Bingo on the other. Bluey and Bingo are also featured on the Ground Up collection’s slippers which are very blue and very fluffy, and a matching pair of slide sandals. Completing Target’s Bluey range is a pair of sneakers perfect for playing Keepy Uppy. There’s even a balloon on the toe.

Head on over to Walmart and you’ll finda similar collection for Beetlejuice. While Bluey is popular all of the time, Beetlejuice is back after 35 years after the movie’s release with its sequel hitting theaters later this year. Someone must have told Warner Bros. how much money the original movie made three times. There are five items in the Beetlejuice collection - high tops and slippers like Bluey, and a couple of pairs of regular striped sneakers I wouldn’t be surprised to see Michael Keaton himself wearing in the sequel.

Beetlejuice Striped Unisex Sneakers

Now, Where’s The Crossover?

If Beetlejuice 2 does feature sneakers you can buy in the real world, it wouldn’t be the first movie to do that in 2024. Deadpool & Wolverinegot its own range of Adidas sneakers and t-shirtsahead of the blockbuster’s release last week, but one of the sneaker designs was held back and revealed during the movie. Bonus points to anyone who spotted them without having to do research afterwards.

Bluey High-Top Sneakers

Ground Up’s Bluey footwear collection is exclusive to Target. These high-top sneakers feature a blue, pink, and yellow floral design with Bingo and Bluey on each sid of the shoes.

Beetlejuice Striped Unisex Sneakers

Beetlejuice is back and to celebrate, Ground Up has created a range of sneakers celebrating the movie and its sequel. These striped sneakers are not only designed to match the lead character’s suit, but they’re also unisex.

Everything in the Bluey and Beetlejuice collections is available now, Bluey exclusively at Target, and Beetlejuice at Walmart. The Beetlejuice range includes sneakers and other footwear for kids and adults, but unfortunately, the Bluey shoes are only available in kids' sizes. How many of us need to yell from the rooftops that we love Bluey before Ludo hears us and lets us grown-ups rep our love for the show alongside our kids?
