Summary
The following article contains minor spoilers for a couple of Black Myth: Wukong’s secret bosses.
While not as deep as something likeElden Ring,Black Myth: Wukongis rich in lore and secrets, many of which are still being discovered by players.

The game is full ofhidden areas, concealed items, and secret bosses — some of which you can use to your advantage.
Shigandang Vs. Stone Vanguard
Shingandangis one of Black Myth: Wukong’s secret Chapter 2 bosses.
After collecting all six Buddha’s Eyeball items that are hidden around the Fright Cliff area of the chapter, you can proceed to the Rock Rest Platform—the area where you would normally fight theStone Vanguard boss.
At the entrance to the arena, slightly to the left, is what appears to be a giant stone. Approaching this stone with all six Buddha’s Eyeballs will give an interaction prompt, which, when used, will summon the area’s secret boss, the giant Shigandang.
If you’ve yet to beat the Stone Vanguard, summoning Shingandang will cause aMonster Hunter-esqueturf war between the two rocky behemoths. Of course, Shigandang is significantly larger than the Stone Vanguard, so it dispatches it pretty quickly, however, not before losing a chunk of its own health, offering the Destined One the perfect opportunity to tackle the fight.
The Scorpionlord Vs. The Duskveil
Similarly, you can make two of Black Myth: Wukong’s Chapter 4 bosses fight each other, arguably with greater consequences.
The Scorpionlord and The Duskveil are two of the secret bosses in the chapter. And two of the most difficult.
Upon playing, you’re likely to run across The Scorpionlord first, but if you choose to ignore it and head straight for The Duskveil fight, The Scorpionlord will be there to help.
Much like in the previous fight, The Duskveil obliterates The Scorpionlord; however, in taking damage itself, it becomes slightly easier to fight.
Game Science, the Black Myth: Wukong developers, has also made another boss easier for players. In the game’s most recent patch, one of Chapter 3’s most notorious bosses,Captain Wise-Voice,has been nerfed, meaning players should also have an easier time here.
