Teamfight Tactics, in recent history, has added augments to the game that make specific champions change their ability and playstyle entirely. Some are so-so at best, while others are so strong that the best tactic is to drop whatever idea you have and build around this new leader of the team, and Set 12 has one that has skyrocketed in popularity.
This champion augment is called Witchy Wallop Poppy, and it changes Poppy from a tank to a damage dealer which can lead you to victory if built around correctly.

All Units For The Witchy Wallop Poppy Team Composition
To start, here areall the units you needalongside theWitchy Wallop Poppy augmentfor your team.
Keep in mind,if you do not have the Witchy Wallop Poppy augmentactive in your game, this build will be near unplayabledue to how Poppy changes.

There are two variations to this composition: focusing on the Witchcraft trait or the Bastion trait. Overall, the Bastion trait allows for Poppy to live longerandprotects Ahrias your secondary damage dealer.
This comp, in essence, is aboutgetting as many units three-starred as possible, starting withPoppy. After getting her as strong as you can, focus on gettingAhri, Zoe, Lillia, and Nunuthree-starred as well. While all these three-star units are strong, youneed to build items forPoppy and Ahri.
How To Level Up With The Witchy Wallop Poppy Team Composition
Now, out of all the team compositions you can choose to build, champion augment-focused builds are tough to plan ahead of time due to the chance of it.Getting a specific champion augment requires luck, but when you do get it, you need to know exactly what to build to get the most value out of it.
When you level up with this composition isn’t as set in stone as other compositions because you could get this augment either at 2-2 or at 3-2. For this composition to work out,the best time to get it is as early as possible, sothis level up guide is specific for getting the augment at 2-2.
Due to the nature of this composition, the best thing to do isto roll down at level five. Instead of leveling up to five at 2-5,level up to five naturally at 3-2andspend all your money trying to hit Poppyand her compatriots. Hitlevel six at 4-1 and 7 at 5-1, but use most of your money rolling down before you hit level seven to hit those three-star units.
Best Item Builds
Starting with the damage-dealingPoppy, the ideal items are aBloodthirster, an Infinity Edge, and a Hand Of Justice. Normally these items would be useless on Poppy, but the augment makes her a melee physical damage dealer.
Then, build yourAhriwithtwo Adaptive Helms and a Rabadon’s Deathcapto add a magic damage dealer to your team that you can easily three-star alongside your Poppy.
Lastly, build out your tanks with tank items, which areShen and Taricfor this team. Both units need a Gargoyle Stoneplate, butShenis best with aSunfire Cape and a Warmog’s Armorwhile givingTaricaDragon’s Claw and a Redemption.
The rest of your units, three-starred or not, don’t need items as muchas the units listed above do.Poppy is your priority, but getting those tank items should be your next target to keep your team alive and off Poppy while she slams her enemies to death.
