Summary

There are many great things aboutMarvel Rivals, from roster to gameplay. Still, we’re here to talk about a specific part of the game, which is its looks. The game has a very stylized look to it, with exaggerated proportions on characters and all, and mixing that with its cartoon aesthetic, the game feels like an animated comic.

The game’s style culminates in its multiple skins, referencing comics and even other video games. While some are simple re-colors, there are many amazing picks here, so you can kill your enemies (or friends who happen to be on the opposite team) with style.

Storm wearing the Mohawk Rock skin in Marvel Rivals.

Updated on Jul 21, 2025, by Lucas Olah:New season, new skins. Season 2 takes us to the beautiful mutant land of Krakoa, introducing us to Emma Frost and Ultron. With this, we have even more skins to consider, whether they are adaptations from the MCU, formal attires from the Hellfire Gala, or skins from the second half of the first season that we now have to consider, too.

20Mohawk Rock

Storm

Storm has a very elegant skinfor her default and a nice white version of it, too. Still, the goddess has a beautiful alternate look featuring her rock style, with spikes everywhere, a tattoo, and, of course, the mohawk.

Ororo is featured with a mohawk on occasion, so it’s nice to have this option here as well, so you can choose the version you like the most from her. Storm may not have a lot of skins yet, but they’re all solid choices.

Iron Man wearing the Blood Edge Armor in Marvel Rivals.

19Blood Edge Armor

Iron Man

Season 1 came on knocking with some great skins.Tony got one of these amazing skinswith Blood Edge Armor, so you can fly away looking like a haunted knight as you shoot them with your beams.

The armor has a bit of the signature red and gold but also features a lot more black, along with skulls in many parts of the armor, heightening the haunted look for your flying knight.

Magneto wearing the King Magnus skin in Marvel Rivals.

18King Magnus

Magneto

Magneto ditched the haunted lookdespite that being the aesthetic of most characters in season 1’s battlepass - he’s too old for dress-up. Instead, he’s wearing formal attire fitting for the King of Krakoa.

The outfit still looks gorgeous, focusing on gold - as royalty would - while also keeping many traits of his Magneto persona, such as the logo and even a few Xs here and there. For his sake, though, Charles won’t be added to the game because Magneto is not wearing his helmet in this one.

Cloak & Dagger wearing the Growth & Decay skin in Marvel Rivals.

17Growth & Decay

Cloak & Dagger

If you want to add some medieval fantasy to your Marvel Rivals just for the fun of it, some skins fit that criteria. But the one we’ll focus on is from Cloak & Dagger, where they get looks that resemble an elf and a dark elf.

Due to being a pair of characters combined, they have the opportunity to get some beautifully unique skins in the future, and this skin is just one example of how fantastical they can look together.

Wolverine wearing the Deadpool & Wolverine skin in Marvel Rivals.

16Deadpool And Wolverine

Wolverine

Now, this one feels a bit like cheating, but it looks awesome. Logan has a very distinct look for his default skin, and though he looks good, the classic suit is a sight to behold. This skin is based on the Deadpool & Wolverine movie, but it’s still fantastic.

The game actually has a lot of skins based on the movies, even though their realistic take on the characters is usually a weird clash with the exaggerated aesthetic here. Not for the Wolverine, though; it’s a perfect fit.

Moon Knight wearing the Mister Knight skin in Marvel Rivals.

15Mister Knight

Moon Knight

Sometimes, you need to look more presentable when meeting people - even if your end goal is still to beat them up. Moon Knight is very aware of that, which is why we have Mister Knight, who made his way here as a skin.

In true assassin fashion, you can hunt people down and kill them while wearing formal attire, ensuring all sorts of fancy kills as you play. The cape stays, though; you need it to glide.

Jeff wearing the Incognito Dolphin skin in Marvel Rivals.

14Incognito Dolphin

Jeff The Land Shark

Yes, we picked this skin because he looks adorable, and we have zero regrets. If you don’t want people to find out that you’re actually a shark, you can disguise yourself with this cute dolphin outfit. Every hero needs a secret identity, after all.

Along with the outfit,Jeff has plenty of itemsattached to it, like keychains, which add a nice extra look to the skin without exaggerating its style. How can people be mad at you for swallowing them and spitting them out of the map when you look this cute?

Immortal Weapon of Agamotto skin for Iron Fist from Marvel Rivals.

13Immortal Weapon Of Agamotto

Iron Fist

This skin is an interesting case for Iron Fist. Here, it has some details, like the yellow mask, that resembles the original Iron Fist, Danny Rand, more than the version in the game, Lin Lie. Still, the skin also has its own look, unlike the original Danny Rand outfit.

Instead, this skin focuses on white and red along with the yellow, and it also gives him magical symbols as it’s based on the powerful Agamotto. We can also see the dragon tattoo on the chest, which is as clear as day.

Flora Maiden skin for Mantis, from Marvel Rivals.

12Green Scar

Bruce Banner

Similar to Cloak & Dagger, Hulk’s skins also have a special, unique component to them because they need to vary between Hulk, Baby Hulk (aka Banner), and Hulk during his ultimate. So let’s take a trip to Sakaar.

There, Hulk gets his famous gladiator armor, and Rivals adapts that look, taking all three forms into consideration during the process. Thus, we have an excellent three-for-one skin, and we get to see Gladiator Banner, which is fun.

11Flora Maiden

Mantis

Season 2’s event gave us a fun list of challenges to go through, and by the end of these challenges came a special skin for Mantis. This one changes her significantly, turning her into basically a plant.

Still, the green with yellow and white details is a beautiful match of colors, and it significantly changes Mantis' look compared to her default skin, which makes it a unique skin to have at your disposal.
