The main downside is theaggressive kickback. The aim stutters up and to the right pretty drastically as you shoot, making this gun great for headshot experts with great stutter control.

With thesame damage rate anywhere on the body,and not much significant change with including headshots, this gun doesclean damage at close range.It also has aquicker average reload timecompared to most guns on the list, and aspeedy aim down sighttime.
The drawbacks to the M4 are few, but stark. When aiming, there’s alot of idle movement,making it difficult at times to get an accurate aim at longer distances. The barrel attachments don’t do much to improve this, as some attachments even reduce the range. This makes the M4 a great gun for close combat.
