Summary
Besides plenty of useful items that you’re able to get from the vending machine, Murky Divers also has a bunch of modules that can further help you during your dives. The best thing about modules is that they won’t take up your inventory space, and they work like add-ons that you can install in your body by heading into the shower on your submarine.
With modules, you can increase your survivability chances significantly during your mid to late-game expeditions. Just like the items, you can obtain these modules from the vending machine by typing in the relevant number on the keypad. As of now, there are only five modules available in Murky Divers, and they are ranked below.

5The X-Ray Module
Locate Your Friends Easily
As the name suggests, you’re able to use the X-ray module to obtain X-ray vision, which can be very useful in finding your teammates. By equipping the module, you can easily spot the outline of your allies through walls and doors that can help you detect them in case any of you get lost. Thanks to the module, locating your team members can be very easy, and you can help them out in case they get in trouble with monsters or need help with carrying body parts or experiments.
Another great use of the X-ray module is that it can help you locate any of your fallen teammates during expeditions so you can collect their bodies and bring them back to the ship. After you equip it in the shower, you can activate it during the dive by pressing Q or E. It is available for $150, and you need to enter 83 on the keypad to obtain it.

Once you have activated the module, your appearance changes as your eyeballs pop out, which is definitely a fun sight to witness.
4Grappling Hook
Latch Onto Literally Anything
The Grappling Hook can be a very useful item, especially if you plan on diving solo in abandoned buildings underwater. While you won’t be able to use it early on during your dives as it can be quite expensive, it is still a worthy investment as you can use it to bring body parts and experiments towards you. Therefore, if you find yourself in a tricky area where you have spotted a monster, and you want to obtain a certain body part, you can easily get it without putting yourself in danger.
You can also install the module and use it on any of the architectural buildings to move to that point faster. Another use of the hook is to shoot it at fellow players and pull them towards you in case they are in danger. You won’t be able to obtain it early on as it is priced at $200. When you activate it, you automatically equip a pair of cool camo shorts.

3Body Parts Detector
Find Corpses Like A Pro
This is one of the best items you can obtain for your dives. When the module is placed on the player, a fly comes out of it and goes in the direction of nearby body parts automatically, helping you locate experiments and corpses easily. It is without a doubt a wonderful item to have for bigger maps as it can help youclear evidence quicklyand easily.
If you enjoy solo diving, you should definitely consider getting this module, as collecting corpses on your own can be quite a task. When you equip it in the shower, it appears as a transparent glass cover attached to your forehead. Luckily, it is pretty cheap, and you may buy it for $130 only by typing 57 in the vending machine.

2Flashlight
Nothing Can Miss The Big Light
Glow sticks are one of the few resources available in Murky Divers that you can use to lighten up areas around you. However, its range and effect are not that great, especially for deep dives in darker maps. This is why you need the flashlight module which you can install by heading into the shower.
Instead of spending on glow sticks, you should consider buying a flashlight module as it is much better in comparison and does not cost a lot. You can save your money for more important items.

By using a flashlight, you can venture into the darkest parts of the abandoned labs without fearing the dark. Furthermore, you can easily spot experiments and body parts lying around, which can otherwise be difficult to find. Lastly, the flashlight will help to detect any incoming dangers and entities ahead and avoid getting yourself killed. Fortunately, it is pretty cheap and you can get it for $100 by typing 66 on a vending machine. When it is activated, it appears as a giant spotlight on the top of your head.
1EMP
Blast The Kraken
EMP or Electromagnetic Pulse is without a doubt the most powerful and useful item that you can obtain in Murky Divers. It can greatly improve your diving experience and help you explore the areas without fearing for your life. After you equip it,pressing E or Qon your keyboard, the EMP can cause a blast of energy covering a huge radius. When this happens, any entities and monsters around you will be stunned. You can use it as many times as you want, but it does take ten seconds to recharge, which is not that bad.
The only downside to the EMP is that your audio will be affected as well, and the noises around you’re able to sound static and annoying.
Not only does it protect you from the creatures, but it can also shield your teammates from incoming attacks. Therefore, at least one of your teammates should save enough money to get the EMP module. It is a must-have for solo diving as well, especially for diving in more dangerous maps that appear later on in your gameplay. Unfortunately, it is one of the most expensive items as you have to spend $400 to get it. When you equip it, it appears as a bunch of white wires around your torso.
