There are many to choose from, and each one has a unique personality with interests that support the town in one way or another. You’re free to mingle as you like until you choose to settle down, and getting to know each candidate will help you narrow your selection.
Eiland is a wonderful romance option inFields of Mistria. He’s an archaeologist with a passion for the history of the town, and you can work alongside him to find answers about the past. Here’s how to sweep Eiland off his feet!

Eiland is acurious and intellectualyoung man who loves researching the past of Mistria. His sisterAdeline, the town leader, handles most of the paperwork while heprefers to be in the fieldworking. Meanwhile, his aunt Elsie enjoys the finer things in life.
You’ll often find him betweenthe Manor House, the museum, and the Western Ruins. On Friday nights, he can be found at the inn with everyone else. He might beplaying Dragons and Dramawith his friends, so ensure to stop by!
However, despite hislove for history and artifacts, they don’t make good gifts for him. You can give him one gift a day and talk to him to increase your friendship, so you’ll want to make sure that each gift matters. The best gifts you can give him are desserts, ashe has a major sweet tooth.

Eiland’s Heart Events
As you build a relationship with Eiland, you’llincrease how many heartsyou share. Every two hearts, you’llunlock a new eventwhere the two of you spend time together.
You’ll know when youreceive a letterthat it’s time to meet up, sokeep an eye on the mailbox. These events can betriggered at any timeafter receiving the letter and thusstarting the event-specific quest.
As of now, there are only two available heart events!
Eiland’s Two Heart Event
Upon reaching two hearts with Eiland, you’llget a letter in the mailfrom him. He invites you tomeet him at the Manor Houseso he can show you an interesting feature on site.
This begins The Stele quest!
He’lllead you to a stelehidden nearby and provide you with some history about it. Below are the dialogue options for this event:

While your choices won’t make much of a difference in this event, you canlearn more about the history of Mistriaby asking questions. SInce Eiland is an inquisitive friend of yours, it’s worthindulging in his hobbiesto get to know him better.
Eiland’s Four Heart Event
After reaching four hearts, Eiland will reach out to you again. When you receive another letterin the mail, you’ll begin thequest titled The Ruins. Make your way to the museum, thenhead across the fallen pillarto cross over into the Western Ruins.
When you arrive, Eiland willshow you a new dig sitethat emerged after the earthquake that devastated the town. Below are the dialogue options for the event:
“A location completely untouched for untold years! I could spend the rest of my life here and not uncover all its secrets.”
“Good thing you’ve got an assistant now, huh?”
“Bet there’s a lot of treasure around!”
“Between cataloging the helmet, translating this, and deducing where the next piece of the armor is, I’ve got my work cut out for me!”
“It’s your time to shine!'
“Anything I can do to help?”
Your choices won’t change the outcome of this event, but you canchoose to be supportive of Eilandand help him with his work. Maintaining a positive attitude and pursuing the mysteries of Mistria should be your focus!
Eiland’s Six Heart Event
Uponreaching six heartswith Eiland, you’llfind a letter the next morningin your mailbox. Eiland requests that you make your way to the Manor north of town and meet him there.
Once inside, you’ll begin the search for a legendary cape. Below are all your dialogue options:
“Thank you for coming.”
“Where are we off to? Ancient ruins? A forgotten temple?”
“Let me guess, you found a secret labyrinth in the Manor!”
“It’s hardly an adventure, but can I count on you to help me search?”
“I’m in! What are friends for?”
“Maybe we’ll leave today’s adventure out of the history books…”
“Well Mother was so proud, she had it sent off to the Capital to be verified, and then the Caldosians got word of it…”
“The Caldosians must have been thrilled!”
“Let me guess, you didn’t get your ring back?”
“Let’s hope our quest doesn’t end here.”
“We won’t stop till we complete the armor!”
“Three out of however many ain’t bad!”
Takingan enthusiastic approach is best, as Eiland cares deeply about this quest he’s undertaken tofind every piece of armor. The outcome remains the sameregardless of your actions, so don’t stress too much about your choices.
