There’s a lot to do inFields of Mistria, but don’t neglect the people around you. Each of them has a unique personality, and getting to know them will help you learn more about the town and the relationships between them all.
From having a daily conversation to giving gifts, you’ll want to set aside time to meet with your favorite townspeople so you’re able to build a relationship. While Adeline is a busy woman running the town, she can spare a few moments for her friends. If you develop a relationship with her, it may even turn into something more romantic!

Adeline spends a lot of her time eitherin her office or strolling around townto meet with business owners. She’s vigilant and determined tomake Mistria a better place, but she’ll still make time for her friends onFriday night at the inn.
The best way toincrease your relationshipwith her is togive her a gift every day. This is easy at the beginning of the game, as herfavorite flowers are available in spring.
Your journal willkeep tabs on what gifts she likes and loves, as well as other important information such as her birthday and yourprogress towards the next heartlevel. Below are the best gifts to give Adeline:
Adeline’s Heart Events
As your relationship with Adeline improves, you’llgain more hearts. Every two hearts, you’llreceive a letter and unlock the next heart event, allowing you to spend time with Adeline and learn more about her.
Letters from Adeline in regard to your relationship willhave a little heart next to her iconso you don’t mix them up with her normal letters about repairing the town. Below, you’ll find the different heart events and thechoices you’re able to make!
As of now, there are only two available heart events!
Adeline’s Two Heart Event
Upon reaching two hearts, Adeline will send for you to meet her in her office. She extends the invitation so you can get a better look at what the government looks like in Mistria, and you’ll get to work with her for a short while.
This begins the questThe Smell of Drying Ink!
Elsie and Eiland are present as well, so it’s really a family affair that you’re walking into. The dialgoue choices for this heart event are as follows:

Since Adeline is so passionate about her work, it’s a good idea toreturn that enthusiasm and support her. You can be honest if you don’t like paperwork or pencil-pushing, but it won’t do you any favors.
Adeline’s Four Heart Event
After reaching four hearts, you’llreceive a letter and begin the quest titled An Important Choice. Adeline invites you to the Manor House again, and you’llfind her in her office.
The town is getting a bit ofrelief from the Capital, but Adeline wants your input on what to do. Below are your dialogue options:
“We’ve been granted access to a special earthquake relief fund for rural areas that have been hit particularly hard.”
“Wow, congrats Adeline!”
“Ooh, how much are we getting?”
“Why I’m sure you yourself have some projects these supplies would help speed along!”
“Fences! Barns! Coops!”
“Finally, I can star mass producing chicken statues.”
“There’s no ‘wrong’ answer! What do you, as a typical Mistrian, think the townsfolk would benefit from most?”
“That extra stone and wood would go a long way!”
“Big cookie! Big cookie, big cookie!”
Here, your choice matters. If youchoose to get extra stone and wood, you’ll get a package in the mail within a few days containing your share. It’s not much, but it’s a great gift you canuse to craft.
While Eiland would prefer you select the cookies, thiswill not impact your relationshipwith him.
Adeline’s Six Heart Event
Reaching six hearts with Adelinetakes time, but once you do, she’ll send you a letter asking tomeet her in town by the request board. When you arrive, you’llaccompany her on her daily errandsas she checks in with the different folks around Mistria.
“And that’s where this inspection comes in! We’ll tour Mistria and verify everyone has what they need.”
“After you, Adeline!”
“A walk around Mistria sounds nice!”
“I just need to ensure I’m keeping on top of everything.”
“Maybe we should take a break?”
“Really, the town is doing great!”
“I-I’ve really been enjoying your company, though.”
“Well, look at that! I’m getting my second wind!”
“Okay, but let’s try not to overdo it.”
“And there’s still some work to take care of on my desk when I get back…”
“The work can wait, let’s get something to eat and recharge.”
“Can I interest you in a meal at the Inn first?”
Continue to follow Adeline as she makes her rounds to see just how much she does for the town in a day. Make sure tosupport and comfort heras best you can, as she’s a workaholic in need of a friend or partner that canremind her to take it easy.
