Wuthering Wavesis an exciting open-world video game created by Kuro Game Studio that is presented against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic world. The game is all about a new battle concept where characters fight by calling out an echo who helps them for a short time.
Once the Tacet Discords (monsters) have been defeated by you, these echoes are created using the leftover frequencies. These echoes are a key part of the characters' strength and can help you win battles against difficult opponents. To help you figure out the best echo for you, here is a comprehensive tier list for echoes.

Wuthering Waves: Echoes Tier List
To date, there are a total of59 echoesin this game, in which12 echoes are of four-cost,17 echoes are of three-costand30 echoes are of one-cost.
Theone-cost echoes are pretty weak, thus we will leave them out of the tier list.

Now we are going to explain briefly the divisions of each tier before we get to the tier list quickly:
Explanation
S
These echoes are exceptional in battles and can give you a significant edge over adversaries in Wuthering Waves.
A
These echoes can help you in battles only if you give enough time to upgrade them.
B
These echoes are good for starters, but eventually, you want to move on with better echoes.
C
These echoes are not meant for you, especially failing to provide a clear edge in the battle.
This tier list will also mention their sonata effect to make you understand the power they will use in the battle. Here are all the sonata effects in Wuthering Waves:

Dreamless
It is the strongest echo in the game with her Sun-sinking Eclipse sonata effect.
Crownless
It also wields the Sun-sinking Eclipse sonata effect but falls short of Dreamless in terms of inflicting damage. It’s a good alternative to Mech Abomination.
Inferno Rider
It is a versatile echo that can deal huge blows to enemies and have a Molten Rift sonata effect.
Mech Abomination
It is a very handy echo to use, considering its electro damage and Lingering Tunes sonata effect.
Jue
Extraordinary echo with super powerful attacks and a Celestial Light sonata effect.
You can get the Inferno Rider as an echo when you complete the “We Promise, We Deliver” exploration quest.

Chasm Guardian
This three-cost echo is extremely reliable with Lingering Tunes and Rejuvenating Glow sonata effects.
Impermanence Heron
A perfect echo with Moonlit Clouds sonata effect that can be used by a lot of players in battle.
Mourning Aix
It is one of the most reliable echoes to play in the game. It has the Celestial Light sonata effect.
Thundering Memphis
A good echo that can be handy and can inflict a good chunk of damage with its Void Thunder sonata effect.
Feilian Beringal
Overlord class with a Sierra Gale sonata effect that deals significant AoE damage and can be a good pick.
Tempest Memphis
It is one of the strongest electric-type echo in the game. It has the Void Thunder sonata effect.
Lampylumen Myriad
A great ice-type echo with a Freezing Frost sonata effect. You can settle for this if you don’t have Tempest Memphis.
Havoc Dreadmane
It possesses both the Molten Rift and the Sun-sinking Eclipse sonata effect, but nowhere near to Dreamless, Crownless, and Inferno Rider.
Autopuppet Scout
It possesses both the Celestial Light and Freezing Frost sonata effect, but fails shortly to both Jue and Lampylumen Myriad.
Lumiscale Construct
This echo inflicts an extraordinary amount of damage with the Freezing Frost sonata effect at only three-cost.
Violet-Feathered Heron
It is similar to Cyan-Feathered Heron but with more damage. It has the Molten Rift sonata effect.
Geohide Saurian
An animal-like echo known for its Molten Rift and Moonlit Clouds sonata effects, but as usual, fails shortly to both Inferno Rider and Impermanence Heron.
Cyan-Feathered Heron
Another animal-like echo with the Celestial Light and the Sierra Gale sonata effects. It might be a good choice for you, but with time, using this echo in the battle might make you feel like a drag.
Chaserazor
It is considerably better than the Stonewall Bracer, but it still might not be the ideal choice to battle against a powerful boss.
Stonewall Bracer
The weakest echo among all the B-Tier echoes, which has little impact in the battle with the Moonlit Cloud sonata effect.
Flautist
It is not an ideal choice to use this in battle but maybe tempting enough to keep this echo in your collections. It has the Lingering Tunes sonata effect.
Hoochief
A monkey-like echo that can be a tempting choice to try out in side quests. However, they are not so strong in the battle.
Glacio Dreadmane
This echo is similar to Havoc Dreadmane in terms of design. However, it has got the upper hand when it comes to inflicting damage. A good option if you are just starting, but it rarely leaves an impact on the battle. It has the Freezing Frost sonata effect.
This echo is not an ideal choice to use as it rarely has an impact in battles. It has the Molten Rift sonata effect.

Lightcrusher
A very weak animal-type echo which is strongly advised not to use in battles. It has the Celestial Light sonata effect.
Tambourinist
A very common echo that you can find everywhere on the map, not usually known for its strength, but might be decent for the starters. It has the Sun-sinking Eclipse sonata effect.
Spearback
An animal-type echo with below average damage. It has the Lingering Tunes sonata effect.
Roseshroom
One of the weakest echoes in the battle, despite wielding both the Freezing Frost and the Sun-sinking Eclipse sonata effect.
Rocksteady Guardian
It is the weakest echo in the whole tier list and gives little to no support to the characters in the game. It has the Celestial Light sonata effect.
