Summary

Youtooz has come a long way since it started life as a toy company that turned memes into collectibles. It still does a bit of that, but a bigger section of its creations now belongs to video games. Everything fromElden RingtoBorderlandshas its own range of Youtooz figures, and the addition of a very big game to the Youtooz family was teased over the weekend.Baldur’s Gate 3is coming, not only via a range of figures but also some plushes modeled after the animals you will have happened upon throughout The Forgotten Realms.

The teaser was shared at the weekend, revealing that at least four of Baldur’s Gate 3’s core characters will be getting their own figures, and three of its creatures have been turned into plushes. All seven collectibles have been shown from behind, and the figures are shrouded in darkness in an attempt to keep their identities a mystery. The thing is, we’ve all spent more than enough time with the game’s companions to recognize them from behind in the dark.

It didn’t take long for fans to figure out that the four characters coming to Youtooz are Gale, Lae’zel, Astarion, and Shadowheart. Exciting, and there will be a lot of you reading this right now who have already decided you absolutely must have all four even though we haven’t gotten a good look at them yet. Some people are upset that Karlach and Wyll are missing, but the more optimistic among you have pointed out that the figures may have been split into two groups of four and they will be revealed at a later date with Halsin and Minthara.

This Is All Well And Good, But Where Are Karlach And Wyll?

The three plushes that will accompany the Youtooz figures are a little bit more difficult to identify. The white one on the left appears to be Scratch the dog, the middle plush is likely the Owlbear cub, and the toy on the right is a bear, potentially Halsin in bear form which is what kicked off Baldur’s Gate 3’s massive popularity ahead of its release last year. Apparentlymore of you have romanced a Mind Flayer than a bearduring Baldur’s Gate 3’s first year so if that plush is based on Halsin, it’s safer than I thought.

Youtooz might not have the brand recognition that Funko Pops have yet, but confirmation it has Baldur’s Gate 3 figures and plushes coming soon is the second reveal in less than a week connected to a huge game released in the last 18 months. The toymakergave us a first look at its Helldivers 2 collectionwhich includes Bile Titan and Charger figures.
