The latest reminder comes from a community updateblog post, going over the changes coming to Baldur’s Gate 3 in Patch 7. Surprise surprise,a cheeky fling with Gortashwillnotbe added to the game with this patch, and fans are in mourning.
No Gortash Kisses In Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7, Says Larian
“‘But will we be able to kiss Gortash?’ we hear you plead. ‘We want to kiss Gortash!'” reads the latest blog post from Larian. “Listen, he’s a complicated guy who’s busy contemplating the minutia of death cult office politics. Babygurl doesn’t have time to kiss.”
Ever since Larian posted this, Gortash enthusiasts have started grieving the kiss that never was. Although some are having fun with how Larian worded it here.
However, the best response yet has to be from those who believe that, eventually, Gortash kissingwillbe added to the game. These eternal optimists point out that the blog post is only ruling out some fun times with Gortash inPatch 7.Well, Larian saw this argument, and then preemptively said Gorty smooches won’t be in Patch 8 either, but the fans still aren’t giving up.
Of course, it’s worth remembering that this coming update is going to release the mod toolsandmake mods available on console. So, soon enough, more players will be able to just add in some Gortash kissing themselves - something which many have done already.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 7 is set to go live sometime in September.
