The following piece contains major spoilers for Red Dead Redemption 2.
Summary
Roger Clark, the voice ofRed Dead Redemption 2’s leading man Arthur Morgan, has given his opinions on the game’s various endings; pointing to one ending which he believes best fits with Arthur Morgan’s story.
In an interview withGamology, Roger Clark touched on the subject of an objectively ‘good’ ending for Red Dead 2. Clark doesn’t think any of these endings are good for Morgan, but there is one ending he believes fits best with the character.

Red Dead 2 has four different endings, high and low honour versions for helping John or returning for the money. “I never see much point of going back for the money. Arthur’s days are numbered, what’s money gonna do him anyway?” Clark said. “He might as well help John. So I think going back to help John, with high honour, for me, is my canon ending.”
Van Der Linde Gang Parties
Another question posed to Clark was regarding which of Red Dead 2’s many scenes were his favourite to motion capture. Clark responded that he enjoyed any scene where “the whole gang” was involved.
“There’s so few moments in the game where everyone is having fun…” Clark began. “Two of those moments are when you rescue Sean and there’s a big party afterwards at camp. Then there’s another great party scene where you rescue Jack, and you finally bring Jack back home, and Abigail is finally reunited with her son.”

“There’s another scene too, for some people it doesn’t happen, you’ve just recently become deputies for the Grays and then after that, you have the choice to go fishing with Dutch and Hosea. You commandeer a boat and you’re fishing and you’re singing songs with them. I remember practicing those songs with Benjamin Byron Davis and Curzon Dobell, it was really awesome to sing with them.”
There have been rumours swirling around about the original Red Dead Redemptionbeing ported to PCfollowing the addition of strings to Rockstar’s launcher that indicated as much. However, there has since been speculation that this was an early addition and the port is still a long way off.
