Summary
Gamers of a certain age will know exactly what it feels like to leave an arcade, wishing you could continue playing the games you’re leaving behind when you get home. Consoles andPCs allow for that to an extent, but it’s not quite the same. That’s where Arcade1Up comes in. Dedicated to giving you as many ways as possible to make it feel like you have an arcade in your own home, its latest offering, the NBA Jam Deluxe cabinet, is now available to buy onAmazon.
Arcade1Up previouslyshowed off its new NBA cabinet via Amazon’s 3D Gaming Zone. As places where you may go to buy physical copies of games become harder to find, Amazon has launched a virtual store you can peruse with games on shelves and a few Arcade1Up products sprinkled in for good measure. Fitting that Arcade1Up is featured prominently in the Gaming Zone as arcades are even more endangered than video game stores in 2024.

The NBA Jam cabinet includes the three games in the officially licensed basketball series that were first released in arcades through the 1990s - NBA Jam, NBA Jam Tournament Edition, and NBA Hangtime. Not only are their two control panels for local multiplayer, but WiFi functionality means you can play with and against up to three other people around the world. Internet access also means it features global leaderboards just like other Arcade1Up cabinets.

Don’t worry, you won’t need an endless supply of quarters on top of the $500 you’ve paid to have an arcade cabinet in your own home, the doors are just for show.
