Summary

Arcade1Up is best known for the arcade cabinets it creates specifically for your own home. Machines that can be bought and assembled at home so that you have a piece of the arcades you loved growing up by creating a way to play some of the games you remember them for at home. However, equally as impressive as its wide range of home arcade cabinets is its Infinity Gaming devices, and starting from today you’re able to use those devices to play Jeopardy.

Jeopardy is a game show mainstay in the US, and the reason for its arrival on Infinity Game Board and Table demonstrates that. Arcade1Up’s Jeopardy has been created to celebrate the game show’s 60th anniversary. 60 years of contestants giving answers in the form of questions with the late, great Alex Trebek hosting for the majority of the show’s run. The Infinity Gaming version of Jeopardy doesn’t need a host, of course, as you’re manning the controls.

Like the real show, Arcade1Up’s Jeopardy can be played by up to three people, taking turns to select topics from the board and earning virtual cash for getting the answers right, or losing that money if they get the answers wrong. The game is also playable head-to-head if there aren’t three of you, and there’s even a solo time trial mode if you want to play alone.

Time will start ticking once the game begins and you might notice that it doesn’t stop even when you hit pause. However, there is an option to quick save the game which will bring everything to a grinding halt until you’re ready to return. Not intended to be a way to cheat so you’re able to sneak away and Google the answer to a question you’re struggling with, but if you were to do that, you didn’t get that advice from me.

Arcade1Up’s Infinity Game Board is a compact version of the Infinity Game Table. Effectively a digital game board that can be loaded with more than 100 iconic board games, Monopoly, Scrabble, Risk, and Operation among the many options available.

Jeopardy’s 60th-anniversary edition is available to download and play right now through Arcade1Up’s Infinity Game Board and Table. Having taken the beta version of it for a spin myself, I can confirm it’s a lot of fun, and that’s coming from someone who isn’t from the US so had to learn Jeopardy’s rules before I could get started.
