Summary
Ever sinceFalloutwasofficially renewed for a second season, talk has been hot about what exactly will be included and how long we’ll have to wait until we get to see more of Lucy and the gang. We’ve had plenty of details about the former, but the latter is still up in the air, as Amazon has yet to reveal an air date for Season 2, and hasn’t looked anywhere near ready to give us one.
Thankfully, Amazon MGM Studios chief Jennifer Salke and head of TV Vernon Sanders have revealed that we might not be waiting that long, as in a recent interview withVarietyfollowingthe show’s avalanche of Emmy nominations, Sanders explained that Fallout Season 2 is actually “ahead of schedule.”

I think we’re ahead of schedule, in terms of being able to get Season 2 back. We don’t have an exact launch date yet, but we’ve already gotten scripts in hand, and I think the fans of Season 1 will really love where we’re going for Season 2.
What Do We Know About Fallout Season 2
Apart from that little nugget of info, Salke addresses rumors that Fallout could be an anthology, and while they neither confirm nor deny those rumors, they do say that the show has “a lot of doors we can go through.”
We’ve still to see Season 2 first though, and while Salke and Sanders are rather tight-lipped about what we can expect, we’ve had several interviews in the past that have shed some light on the topic. For starters, we have known from the end of Fallout’s first season that New Vegas would be a big part of it, but in a separate interview,it was revealed that Mr House will return in some capacity. This could be through flashbacks, but there’s also the chance that he may still be kicking.
We also know thatDeathclaws will be making an appearance, which was teased at the end of Season 1, but was later confirmed by Fallout’s co-showrunner Graham Wagner. He stated that the reason we haven’t seen them yet is that they’re aware how much of a “monumental piece” the first Deathclaw encounter would need to be, and wanted to give the event the attention it needed.
