InFarewell North, Chesley can increase his stamina so that he can run faster and farther across the Highlands. There are dozens of wisps to find, and not all of them are easy to get to. Thankfully, we’ve mapped them all out for you.
Whether you’re a completionist or simply want to see a happy dog run freely, gathering all the wisps will help you see the beauty of the Highlands and explore all that each island has to offer. Here’s where to find every Will-O'-The-Wisp in Farewell North so that Chesley can reach his full sprinting potential in the Highlands.
What Are Will-O'-The-Wisps
In Farewell North, you cancollect wisps to increase Chesley’s stamina, allowing him torun faster for longer. These wisps will also lead you to your goal or help you find shortcuts and important places in the game.
Overall, there are30 to collect in total, and many of them are missable. We’ve found each of them and listed them for you so you canmax out Chesley’s stamina wheelwhile you play.
Sealladh Will-O'-The-Wisps Locations
There arefive total wisps in Sealladhfor you to find, once youenter the meadow and restore colorto the area. Below are the different locations for you to find each of them andincrease your stamina.

Hop down from the campfire and find thewisp near the heather. Follow it along the rocks to collect it.

In the clearing, where your companion was trapped, you’ll find a wisp among the trees.

Bythe small island, a wisp waits for you in the glowing flowers.

Treaghlach Will-O'-The-Wisps Locations
There are five wispsalong the vibrant red trees in Teaghlach. Between herding sheep and racing your human companion to the docks, you can find each of these at the following locations:
Thecliffs before the first constructed bridgehave a wisp waiting on them.
In the pondby the sheep pen, you’ll find a wisp on a rock.
By the house, on the hill to the right, a wisp can be found between two massive rocks.
While racing your companion, you’llpass through a rock tunnel. The path to the right has a wisp that will guide you.
In the ruins, past several dilapidated houses, a wisp lingers in a broken window before the final slope to the docks.
Bron Will-O'-The-Wisps Locations
There are five wisps located in Bron, locatedbetween the castle ruins and the graveyard. Below are all of their locations so you can find and catch them for Chesley’s benefit!
In the castle tower.When you first encounter the castle and cross the drawbridge, go right and make another right to enter the tower. Follow the wisp up the stairs.
In the graveyard.When you come across the ruins in the graveyard, circle around the back to enter the steeple and find the wisp.
In themain body of the castle, head along the ruined wall with a gap. Circle behind it to find a wisp in the ruins.
Under the drawbridge, you’ll find a wisp waiting for you.
In the graveyard,along the cliffs. You’ll find a wisp waiting for you on a rocky ledge in the graveyard.
Uair Will-O'-The-Wisps Locations
There aresix wisps to findin Uair, and you’ll need tomanipulate the environmentto help you obtain them all. Below is the location of each wisp and how to catch them!
After passing the farm and heading up the hill, you’llfind a pondto your right. A wisp sits in the middle on a boulder.
Near the docks, you’ll find pathways to three different mountains. Near the one to the right,search along the wooded pathwayto find this wisp.
Behind the docks, to the left, is asignpost lodged in rocks. Hop down from this spot to find a wisp and follow it.
When you circle around the farm to reach the other side of the gate, you cantake a detour to the leftto find awisp on the cliffs, overlooking the shore where you later herd sheep.
By the barn, make your way to the right and to the shore. There’s afence blocking the rockshere, but a wisp is just beyond. Use the triangular tree window to remove the fence and leap through to catch the wisp.

Circle back through the main gateto the farmhouse. Passing through it again will deconstruct the farm house, allowing you inside where a wisp waits.
Soraidh Will-O'-The-Wisps Locations
Onlythree wisps can be foundon the final story-related island, and they are easy to miss since they blend in with the snow. Here’s everything you need to know to find them all!
When you first arrive in Soraidh, there’s a wispunderneath the broken bridge. You’ll have to fix the bridge and cross it to circle around beneath it and catch the wisp.
When the canoe gets stuck in the snow the first time, there’s a broken farm building nearby.Behind it is a cavewhere you’ll find a wisp hiding.
After canoeing to a wide open area with snow, you’llfind an arrangement of rocksto the left of a massive slope. Here, you’ll find a wisp.
Additional Wisp Locations
Aside from the main islands, there areseveral skerries with wispson them as well. You’ll need to visit them tocollect the rest to max out Chesley’s staminaand complete your collection.
At the Southray Skerry, you’ll find a wisp on the small island to the left of the dock.
At the Burray Skerry, you’ll find a wisp up along the hill.
At Eynhallow Skerry, you’ll find a wisp at the entrance to a cave.
At Eday Skerry, a wisp can be found along the cliffs down a hidden path while heading back from the rope bridge.
At Faray Skerry, there’s a wisp in the gulley between the two halves of the island.
At Ronaldsay Skerry, you’ll find a wisp inside the ruined fort tower.
