Sell Unwanted Items

Fear not - you don’t have to sit on unwanted extras in Weyrdlets! While you’reat Calcubot’s General Store, accessible from the bottom right Hot Corners menu, you’ll see the option tosell items to Calcubot.
You’ll never recover the original sale price of the item you’re selling back, but selling goods to Calcubot is a great way to earn some Shinies in exchange for items you don’t need.
Most items require you to keep at least one on you once you’ve purchased it, but anything with more than one in your inventory is typically liable to be sold.
Buy More Shinies Through The Steam Store
If all else fails and you reall need more Shinies but have exhausted all the regular in-game ways to get them, there’s always a failsafe backup: you canuse the Steam store to purchase in-game currency. You neverhaveto complete these microtransactions, but they’re available for those who’d like a little paid boost.
To buy Shinies in Weyrdlets, you’ll need togo to Calcubot’s General Storeas you would when buying things normally. Just to the left of the menu itself, hovering over Calcubot to the left, you’ll see the option labeled"Get More Jellystars".
Jellystars are the premium currency in Weyrdlets, much tougher to get than Shinies.
In this menu, you’ll see a few different options tobuy different denominations of Shinies with real currencythrough the Steam store. At the time of publication, these real-life Shinies options range from1,000 to 62,000 Shinies, with a real currency cost ofbetween $0.99 and $49.99 USD.
Choosing to purchase Shinies through the Steam store brings up the Steam pop-up menu, where you’ll be able to see the total you’ll be charged (with sales taxes included on this page) before agreeing to the transaction a final time. After it goes through, your Steam payment method will be charged, and the Shinies are applied to your account.
