Since its debut back at the tail end of 2023, Fortnite has been steadily expanding one of its newest game modes called Fortnite Festival. Created by the developer Harominx, the original team behind Guitar Hero and Rock Band, Fortnight Festival is a rhythm-based game, that borrows mechanics anddesigns from their past successes, to make a wildly popular new game mode.
What Is Fortnite Festival?
Two Game Modes And Hundreds Of Songs
Fortnite Festival comes in two different modes, the Fortnite Jam Stage and Fortnite Festival Main Stage. In the Main Stage, you get to join a party of up to three other players to play licensed music and original music.
You get to pick which instrument you want to play, pick whatever difficulty you’re comfortable with, and start playing. Jam Stage lets you make mash-ups of various songs, giving you the power to customize songs and create your own versions.
This game mode came around after Epic acquired Harmonix back in 2021, tasking the team to develop the Festival game modes. Since then, Epic Games has added a ton of music, customization options, controller support, andeven its own special battle pass.
