Axel is thefather of Angie and Conny, and he’s a devoted family man. While he often cows to his wife, Pia’s, whims, hecares deeply for his childrenand doesn’t want to cause trouble for anyone else.

As a farmhand, helooks after his sheepand ensures that the harvest is bountiful each year. He won’t ask for help unless he absolutely needs it, and even then he still gets an earful from Pia. However, he cancount on Galya and Leighto lend a hand in his time of need.

Galya is theonly doctor in townand was one of the last people to see Angie before the accident. She focuses on helping everyone else first, which often leaves her personal relationships to crumble away. Without Angie, Galya doesn’t know what to do to move forward, andholds a lot of guiltover her last conversation with the deceased.

Focusing on her health, going for a morning run, andspending time with Leighis the best way to help her move forward and fix her stagnant relationships in light of the tragedy. If her relationships are ignored, she could lose them forever.

Her friendship withAngie shapes her decisions, and River must find ways tomake the boat lodge a realitydespite the odds being stacked against her. However, with a bit of help, she mayfind another wayto bring the community together.
