Zenless Zone Zerois HoYoverse’s 2024 venture into the action RPG genre. With the success of their Honkai series and Genshin Impact, the online hype surrounding ZZZ is completely justified. Despite some player concerns, the game stands out for its action-packed gameplay and stunning graphics.

Zenless Zone Zero, with its signature HoYoverse anime-like visuals, comes with a very meticulous and impressive roster of voice actors across multiple languages. Given the developer’sreputation for dialogue-heavy games, particularly with Genshin Impact, it’s no surprise that this highly anticipated installment has some of the best voice actors in the industry.

28Zhu Yuan

Zhu Yuanis an S-Rank Ether attack unit and the team leader of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team in New Eridu Public Security.

Japanese Voice Actor

Zhu Yuan is voiced by the Japanese voice actor, Inoue Marina, who’s also been a part of Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai: Star Rail as the voice of Elyisa and Yanqing, respectively. However, Inoue Marina is famous for voicing many of the most prominent characters in some hit anime. She’s known for being the voice of Armin Arlet from Attack on Titan, Mai Zenin from Jujutsu Kaisen, and Momo Yaoyorozu from My Hero Academia. Additionally, her relatively less-known, but equally well-done roles are Kyoko from Skip Beat!, and Tohka Yatogami from Gurren Lagann.

English Voice Actor

Alaina Wis provides the English voice for Zhu Yuan. She is one of the few actors in the game who had not been part of the HoYoVerse before ZZZ. She is notably known for her roles as Hilda and Tia in Mobile Legends: Adventure and as Sam Finch in Resist.

27Von Lycaon

Von Lycaon, manager of the Victorian Housekeeping faction, is an S-Rank stunner whose main attribute is ice and waspart of the game on its initial release.

Chikahiro Kobayashi voices Von Lycaon in Japanese. He’s known for his voice of Butch from the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and V from Cyberpunk 2077. As for anime, Kobayashi is particularly famous for his voice of Legoshi from Beastars and Saichi Sugimoto from Golden Kamuy.

Nicholas Thurkettle is an actor, writer, and director who provides the voice of Von Lycaon in English. He’s known for playing John Holgate in the American TV show Wild West Chronicles.

26Tsukishiro Yanagi

Yanagi is an S-Rank Anomaly Agent with the electric attribute. She is the Deputy Chief of Section 6.

Yanagi’s Japanese voice actor is Kaori Nazuka, who has been active since 1993, voicing roles like Nunnally Lamperouge from Code Geass, Eureka in Eureka Seven, and Kiyoko Shimizu in Haikyuu. If you’re a big HoYoverse fan, you may recognize her voice as Robin in Honkai: Star Rail.

25Soukaku

Soukaku is an A-rank support agent in Zenless Zone Zero, with ice as her primary attribute. She is a part of the Section 6 faction.

Machiko Saito, a voice actor and singer most commonly known by her stage name Machiko, provides the Japanese voice for Soukaku in ZZZ. Her songs have been featured in the hit isekai anime KonoSuba. She’s particularly known for her voice as Tsubasa Ibuki in the game series The Idolmaster Million Live!

24Soldier 11

Soldier 11 is anS-Rank playable agentwho has fire as her primary attribute and is part of the Obol Squad.

Yukiyo Fujii voices Soldier 11 in ZZZ. She’s known for her various anime VA roles, including Millianna, and Gemi from Fairy Tail, Tetra from Log Horizon, and Himiko Agari from Komi Can’t Communicate. She has also voiced Megumi Tokoro from The Idolmaster Million Live!

Soldier 11’s English voice actor is Emeri Chase. They are a relatively new voice actor, with Soldier 11 being their most well-known role, but they are also the voice of Aurora in League of Legends.

23Seth Lowell

Seth is an A-Rank Defense Agent with the electric attribute, and an officer of Public Security.

Seth’s Japanese VA is Kengo Takanashi, who is most well-known for voicing Link in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. He also voices Fujita in Dorohedoro, and acts in an episode of Kamen Rider Amazons.

Seth’s English voice actor is Nazeeh Tarsha, who voices Alhaitham in Genshin Impact, Kafka in Kaiju No. 8, several characters and skins in Smite, and many other roles.

22Qingyi

Qingyi is an S-Rank Stun Agent with the electric attribute, and an officer of Public Security.

Qingyi’s Japanese voice actor is Maria Abo, who is credited with additional voice roles in the DLC for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Star Wars: Visions, and 86.

Qingyi’s English VA is Kira Buckland, who has too many great roles to list them all here! She is most well-known for voicing 2B in Nier: Automata, Jolyne in the Stone Ocean arc of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Lyria in Granblue Fantasy, and Beatrice in Re:Zero.

21Piper Wheel

Piper is an A-Rank, physical-anomaly-type, playable agent who is part of the Sons of Calydon faction and works as their driver.

The Japanese voice of Piper Wheel is provided by voice actress Manaka Iwami, known for her role as Tohru Honda in the 2019 remake of the anime Fruits Basket. She’s also played supporting roles in Spy x Family (Millie), Frieren (Linie), and Oshi no Ko (Akane Kurokawa).

Suzie Yeung provides the English voice for Piper Wheel. She’s known for voicing Makima in the hit shounen anime Chainsaw Man. She’s also been a part of Genshin Impact and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and has provided the voices for Eula and Yuffie Kisaragi, respectively.

20Nicole Demara

Nicole Demara is an A-rank Ether-type agent who leads the Cunning Hares. She specializes in supporting and is known for her love of money but is perpetually short on it.

Yu Serizawa voices Nicole Demara in Japanese. She’s been part of the HoYoVerse before and was the voice of Liliya Olenyeva in Honkai 3rd Impact. As far as anime is concerned, Serizawa is widely known for her voice-acting work as Mayura Otomi in Twin Star Exorcist, and Shera L. Greenwood in How Not to Summon a Demon Lord.

The English VA for Nicole Demara is Nadia Marshall, who is most well-known for voicing Nicole, but has also voiced Captain Gladiola in Cassette Beasts and Priya in Brawlhalla.

19Nekomiya Mana

Nekomata is the second member of the Cunning Hares agency and is an S-Rank attack-type character.

Sayuri Hara is the Japanese voice behind Nekomiya Mana. She’s pretty well-known for providing the voice for Rinwell from the JRPG, Tales of Arise, and also for certain anime voices, like Luna from KonoSub or Chiaki Ogaki from Laid-Back Camp.

Nekomata’s English voice actor is Alice Himora, who plays Robin in Star Rail, Kina in Fantasian: Neo Dimension, and Gullveig and Heithr in Fire Emblem Heroes.
