When it came out all the way back in 2004,Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eaterimmediately gained the reputation for being one of the best stealth games of all time. Since then, a lot of new stealth titles have arrived on the scene, but MGS3 remains among the greatest. The game has another chance at proving that with the upcoming remake titled Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
The release date for the new version of MGS3 still hasn’t been revealed. Yet, you’re guaranteed to be able to get your hands on some Metal Gear Solid 3 goodness in 2025, as First4Figures are releasing a very detailed statue of Big Boss. you’re able to already pre-order the item at multiple places, including The Big Bad Toy Store, where it is available for $430.

The statue in question is inspired by one of Metal Gear Solid 3’s most memorable scenes. It is Big Boss in formal green military attire saluting the grave of his fallen mentor. Interestingly, he’s attached to a little platform that’s made to look like grass. The whole thing stands just under 22 inches tall and is 1/4 in scale. Also, the statue is made of resin, if that is important to you.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Big Boss Requiem 1/4 Scale Statue
In a tribute to a classic Metal Gear Solid 3 scene, this Big Boss statue is saluting. He is dressed in formal military dress and stands atop a base.
There is more than one version of the statue to pre-order. There is also an Exclusive Edition and Definitive Edition. The Exclusive Edition comes with an extra base that features The Boss’s tombstone. You also get the Patriot weapon with flowers and a gun box. The Definitive Edition also includes all those things, along with another base containing a ghostly figure of the Boss that stands behind Big Boss.
Naturally, the Exclusive and Definitive Editions are more expensive than the regular one. Currently, you can order the Exclusive Edition directly from First4Figures for $546 and the Definitive Edition for $672. They also are slated to release late next year. So, you will likely be able to get your hands on the MGS3 Remake before these statues. That might not be so bad, as playing through the story again might give you extra appreciation for the collectible.
